Sell2Wales

Sell2Wales is the Welsh Government’s procurement portal for advertising and managing many Welsh public-sector opportunities. Suppliers use it to search, register interest, receive alerts and follow the buyer’s response instructions, alongside the central digital platform where the current regime requires publication.

Reviewed

Welsh public bodies use Sell2Wales to advertise opportunities and give suppliers a shared place to search, register interest and receive alerts. The portal covers buyers including local authorities, NHS organisations, colleges and universities, and registration is free.

Search and respond

Search by keyword, location, notice type, buyer and CPV code. A notice can point to a separate e-tendering system for documents, questions and submission. Read the notice’s timetable and submission instructions carefully: registering interest or completing a supplier profile does not itself submit a tender. Keep more than one person responsible for alerts and check spam folders before a deadline.

Welsh Procurement Act arrangements

For Welsh contracting authorities operating under the Procurement Act 2023, procurement information can appear on Sell2Wales and the central digital platform. Suppliers may need a unique organisation identifier from Find a Tender and may be asked to share core supplier information. Devolved Welsh procurement has specific publication and supplier-information guidance, so follow the buyer’s instructions if they differ from a generic UK workflow. For a cross-border pipeline, search Sell2Wales separately from English, Scottish and Northern Irish portals and keep the legal regime attached to each opportunity.
