Public Contracts Scotland
Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) is the Scottish Government’s national advertising portal for public-sector contract opportunities. It is separate from the English central digital platform and from PCS-Tender, the system used to run many Scottish tender exercises.

A Scottish notice should be read under Scotland’s devolved legal and policy framework, even when the opportunity resembles one advertised elsewhere in the UK. Public Contracts Scotland is where many Scottish buyers publish the advertisement, buyer, deadline and tender documents.
PCS and PCS-Tender are different
PCS publishes opportunities and notices. PCS-Tender is the secure e-sourcing environment that many Scottish bodies use for the tender exercise itself. A PCS notice may include a link or instructions to register on PCS-Tender. Do not assume that creating a PCS account submits a bid. Use the response system named by the buyer, and check whether clarifications and final responses must be sent there.
Build a Scottish search routine
Create a supplier account, search by keyword, buyer, location and CPV code, and set alerts for categories you can deliver. Read the lot structure, minimum requirements, SPD or other selection questions, timetable and method of submission. Scottish health and social-care procurement may have special routes. A supplier looking across the UK can search PCS alongside Find a Tender, Sell2Wales and eTendersNI, but should not transfer one jurisdiction’s threshold or notice assumptions to another.
