Provision of High Performance Computing services for interim Irish National HPC service

The infrastructure providing the national High Performance Computing (HPC) service to Irish researchers reached end of life in Nov 2023. A replacement system was not available in time and so to maintain computational capability for Irish researchers it was necessary to tender for compute cycles and storage space on equivalent foreign HPC systems which can offer users a familiar environment and enhanced capability for the interim period while the new Irish platform is procured and commissioned.
