Water Level Forecasting System
For over 10 years, viadonau has been operating a so-called ‘low-water forecasting system’, which was specifically developed to support shipping decisions during periods of low water. This is now set to be replaced by a new, AI-based system. The project is part of the EU-funded “FAIRway Danube II” project, which is co-financed under the European Union's “Connecting Europe” facility.
