RIVER NITH: OVERCAIRN RIVER CORRIDOR RESTORATION
The project requires removal of the embankments through Overcairn farm, excavation of an inset floodplain/river corridor and construction of new-set back embankments as indicated in the design drawings, reusing material where possible. Turf is to be stripped, stored and used to re-turf the excavated inset floodplain. Remaining bare ground and embankments will be , seeded and planted.
