RSPB Lochwinnoch: Tolmiea menziesii treatment with steam_May 2023

Tolmiea menziesii is an Invasive Non-Native Species of vascular plant which has been recently introduced to the UK. Left unmanaged it outcompetes native flora, forming a dense monoculture which leads to local loss of native species and consequently harm to the woodland ecosystem. Unfortunately, this plant is now present at RSPB Lochwinnoch, so we are seeking a supplier to carry out management works to reduce or remove it.
