Sensor Measured Texture Requirements for Asphalt

Identify appropriate sensor measured texture requirements for both newly laid and trafficked thin surfacing, TS2010 and HRA materials on the Scottish trunk road network. In order to do this correlation between sand patch test and sensor measured texture depth will be revisited (no definitive correlation value has been established at this time) and if accurate correlation is still not possible appropriate values of SMTD will need to be established from Wet Accident rate vs Texture relationship analysis.
