The Scottish Government is awarding a supplier to provide the Animal Health and Welfare Division within the Agriculture and Rural Economy Directorate a contract with an appropriately qualified and experienced contractor to carry out laboratory examinations on samples of blood, milk/colostrum and vaginal swabs for evidence of brucella abortus infection. This contract will form part of Scotland’s programme to monitor the national herd for brucellosis.
