Traditional Buildings Skills Training + Beach Hut Prototypes

Argyll and Bute Council are looking to appoint a suitably qualified joiner and maker to develop a prototype beach hut for west bay, Dunoon. The successful bidder will also be required to prepare and facilitate learning sessions with members of the local community to engage them with the making process and educate on traditional skills, materials and finishes and highlight how traditional materials can be used to support carbon reduction through local sourcing and maintenance.
