Understanding how local ‘health systems’ support healthy weight in the early years

This contract is for social research to enhance the Scottish Government's understanding of weight assessment and support for child healthy weight in the early years – specifically, from recognition of pregnancy to Primary 1. The study will aim to produce new data from a variety of respondents in order to develop a detailed picture of current policy, practices and experiences in different localities across Scotland. This will, in turn, inform plans for reducing childhood obesity.
