Supply and planting of native trees at Eilean na Muice Duibhe (SSSI/SAC/SPA), Isle of Islay
Argyll and the Isles Coast and Countryside Trust (ACT) wishes to appoint a competent and suitability qualified tenderer(s) to supply and plant native trees on an area of unprepared ground at Eilean na Muice Duibhe. In 2015 an area of Rhododendron ponticum amounting to 1.83 ha was removed. ACT now wishes to replant this area with native, non-invasive species to provide vegetation and tree cover and to assist with increasing species diversity.

Two stage process. An intial selection satge where selection Criteria will be assessed on a pass/fail basis. One question in the selection criteria requires a minimum pass mark of 60% to proceed to Award Stage Only tenders that pass all sections of the Selection Criteria will proceed to the Award Stage. The Award will be made solely on price.
