Orkney Native Wildlife Project - Detection Dogs 2019
The Orkney Native Wildlife Project (‘ONWP’ hereafter), a partnership between RSPB Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage and the Orkney Islands Council, plans to remove the invasive non-native stoat from Orkney Mainland and the linked isles of Lamb Holm, Glimps Holm, Hunda, Burray and South Ronaldsay, in a trapping operation due to start in late 2019. For this, we require the services of a skilled and experienced conservation detection dog handler(s) and (a) trained and certified stoat detection dog(s).
