It was the intention of the Shetland Islands Council (SIC) to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake refurbishment/life extension works on a spare linkspan deck currently stored at Sella Ness and 13 No. in-service linkspans serving live ferry services across the Council’s inter-isles ferry network.
