Lot 2 Dural Sealant System and applicator

A Dural sealant is designed to facilitate watertight closure of an intact Dura. This can be used alongside other methods of Dural repair such as sutures. Lot 5 Shunt Valves

Shunt valves allow a fixed amount of CSF drainage. A programmable shunt valve provides the option of changing the opening pressure of the valve. An important tool in hydrocephalus, especially in complex cases such as paediatric cases. We envisage awarding 9 suppliers to this lot.

An aneurysm clip is a small metallic clip that fits alongside the neck of an aneurysm to prevent blood from entering. The clip stays permanently clamped on the aneurysm.
