2023 Invasive species survey - Upper Tawe catchment
The purpose of this project is to aid in the restoration of the upper river Tawe catchment through survey of invasive non-native plants (INNS).We expect the main species to search for to be: Japanese knotweed and its hybrid varieties, Himalayan balsam, and Giant Hogweed. Other species such as Rhododendron ponticum, Cherry laurel, Buddleia, Montbretia, Bamboo, Cotoneaster, Snowberry and American Skunk-cabbage, should be noted.This survey data will then be used to seek funding for future control.Aims of this contract...
