Adfer Mawndir Pennant / Pennant Peatland Restoration.

This tender is for the provision of peatland restoration works on Gwaun Lydan, Near Aran Fawddwy, Pennant, Llanymawddwy, Gwynedd. The works involve using low ground pressure excavators to restore the peatland. The restoration work will include re-profiling 9.5km of bare peat haggs. There are 1.2km of draining gully's where water needs to be managed through blocking, slowing down and installing baffles to prevent erosion in the future.
