Contract for the Provision of Genetic Services including DNA Extraction and Genotyping

The work to be carried out by the contracted supplier is genotyping to support genetic analysis to develop a natal baseline to characterise Atlantic Herring populations in the Celtic and Irish seas. The baseline will then be used to identify the origin of individual fish in mixed commercial catch samples, enabling improved stock assessment advice to the various governments involved in quota discussions.
