NHS BSP - Support for management of Very High Risk (VHR) Women 26/27

The service identifies women who received radiotherapy to breast tissue before the age of 36 and ensures they are referred into the NHS Breast Screening Programme’s very high-risk pathway at the right time. This is vital because these women face a significantly higher risk of developing breast cancer later in life.
