ES RDE 063 - Earth Observation Proof of Concepts Products for Soil Health
Defra self-service direct award. Fera is requested to deliver a proof of concept R&D project to test how Earth Observation can support the developing England soil health metric. The work should focus on persistent bare ground, cover crops tillage and erosion with constrained exploration of soil organic carbon1 and soil moisture if budget allows, using open and commercial EO data where appropriate.
