Regulation 14 (Urgent Award): HOPEs supporting to reduce restrictive practice/long term seclusion
There is an immediate and urgent need for the implementation of this service to support a small number of young people who are in long term seclusion at Park View Hospital. Delaying support would result in the young people remaining in seclusion, possibly leading to further psychological and physical harm. The support will be temporary until the young people are moved out of seclusion and staff have been adequately trained.
