E037PA - Operation Vanguard

Essex County Council is commissioning a 7 day a week service for a three-month period in the town and city centres of Braintree, Chelmsford and Colchester. Operation Vanguard is intended to provide a visible presence to reassure residents, deter any potential anti-social behaviour and to collect evidence if any incident occurs. The licensed operatives will cover agreed patrol routes and will work to help Essex residents feel safer and more secure in the town and city centres.
