Medway Council (‘the Authority’) is a unitary authority based in Kent, consisting of the main towns of Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, and Rainham. The highway network in the Medway towns covers approximately 840km, with 110km of A roads, 37km of B roads, 97km of C road, and 596km of unclassified roads.
