Emergency Response to Holme Fen Wildfire STA

Emergency vegetation clearance, chipping and removal works at Holme Fen National Nature Reserve following a significant peat fire in August 2026. The requirement supports ongoing fire response and recovery activities by creating safe access for fire crews, removing fire-risk material, and reducing the risk of further flare-ups. The works are being undertaken in coordination with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service and form part of the wider site recovery programme.
