Strategic Housing Market Assessment

Knowsley Council is to commence the development of a new Local Plan later in 2026 and for a new Housing Strategy to be in place during 2027. To inform the development of the new Local Plan and new Housing Strategy the Council is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified organisation to undertake a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA). The SHMA will be an important part of the evidence base to support both work areas.
