HWRC Operation and Management

Waste Disposal Authorities (including Unitary Authorities) are required to provide residents with a place to dispose of their household waste, under Section 51(1)(b) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (the "1990 Act"). The Council intends to procure a contractor to manage and operate its Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) network across 6 HWRC Sites with materials management at one additional site - 7 sites.
