The project will replace the existing pier with a new structure. This will enable the existing operations to continue on the new pier and provide an enduring capability. It will improve the safety of the operations by providing fixed cranes and modern infrastructure compliant with MOD and industry standards. It will provide increased resilience to sea level rise.
