Accommodation Support Services for Children Aged 16+ and Care Leavers

The Council has entered a collaborative partnership with United Welsh Housing Association to develop accommodation to meet the needs of young people aged 16+ and care leavers. Using capital funding from Housing for Care Funding (HCF), United Welsh has acquired 2 properties close to Newport city Centre and has renovated them to provide tailor-made accommodation for a total of 9 young people across both schemes.
