The works will be conducted at the old Dog and Cat Shelter on Claremont Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne. There is a significant slope/change of height on the site which varies by approximately 3 metres and the project looks to level. The site currently houses the old buildings within which there are some signs of asbestos present. There are coal seams beneath the site with a potential for below ground grouting to be conducted.
