Hunterston Resin Trench

An enclosed trench, that connects the Pond Water Treatment Plant (PWTP) to the various facilities in the Active Effluent Treatment Plant (AETP) area is known as the Resin Trench and also known as the Radioactive Waste Pipe Trench. The trench contains a number of fully welded stainless steel pipes, and cabling.
