North East Wales Food Waste Treatment

A procurement Hub comprising Conwy County Borough Council, Denbighshire County Council and Flintshire County Council is seeking expressions of interest from providers able to offer a service for the treatment of household collected food waste. The Hub requires a treatment process that meets Wales Government’s definition of recycling (e.g. PAS100 for anaerobic digestion) for up to 15,000 tonnes (or 25,000 tonnes for an expanded Hub) of separately collected food waste per year.
