Rhondda County Borough Council and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council are the ‘Supervisory Bodies' under the terms of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (‘the Act’) and The Mental Capacity (Deprivation of Liberty: Appointment of Relevant Person’s Representative) (Wales) Regulations 2009 (‘the Regulations’).
