NEAS NHS FT - Patient Transport (Sunderland) 2025/26 Provision of Discharge Vehicle from South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS FT (Sunderland Royal Hospital site).

NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board have made an Urgent Direct Award of Contract for a discharge vehicle at Sunderland Royal Hospital for a maximum contract period of 12 months in order to ensure continuity of service provision remains in place whilst also ensuring that a competitive procurement is completed by 29 August 2026. The circumstances are as follows: Extreme urgency and due to circumstances beyond the ICB's control The existing provider unexpectedly served notice on the contract.
