RFQ 2025/19 - Asbestos Removal Downshire Civic Centre

A Survey Report identified the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) within the basement tunnels of the Downshire Civic Centre. While the affected area is not accessible to general staff, the ACMs identified still present a health risk to authorised personnel who may need to enter the tunnel. To ensure compliance with Control of Asbestos Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012, and to eliminate the risk of exposure, the identified materials must be removed safely by a competent, HSENI-licensed contractor.
