National Gas Transmission owns and operates Britain's National Transmission System (NTS) for gas. This complex matrix of pipelines transports gas from its points of entry to power stations, industrial plants, storage facilities and to the local Gas Distribution Networks that take gas into homes and businesses, as well as overseas via interconnectors.
