Mental Health Crisis Beds

The service will reduce inappropriate hospital admissions, attendances at Accident and Emergency Departments and readmission to hospital. The service will be an alternative to hospital admission for people who are experiencing episodes of mental distress that evidently require some form of intervention but would not necessitate an admission to secondary care mental health services by providing mental health crisis bed accommodation.
