Domestic Mixed Recyclables Haulage and Treatment - Preliminary Market Engagement

Wigan Council will be seeking a service provider to haul and treat it's mixed recycling collected from domestic properties. The contract is expected to start in 2026 and we propose medium term contract of six year. We would like to seek the views of service providers. During the contract term, legislation will come into force requiring the local authority to collect specific items.
