Development of a Preceptorship for Physician Associates in Hospital Eye Health

Hospital Eye Services (HES) require a significant expansion in an ‘allied’ workforce to meet the requirements of the increasing demand to Ophthalmology services across the country. <br/><br/>PAs are currently working across 46 specialties both in the hospital and in primary and community care, but none are known to work within an Ophthalmology setting.
