NI Water has had an active leakage control policy for many years. It has in place a Leakage Business Plan to take forward leakage activities. The level of leakage has been reduced from 291 Ml/d at March 2002 to 163 Ml/d at March 2017. As per the Utility Regulator’s PC15 determination for the period from April 2015 to March 2021 it is proposed to reduce the level of leakage by 12 Ml/d.
