Scheduled heavy maintenance of GWR's Fleet of 45 x Class 387 Electric Multiple units.
The current heavy maintenance requirements are a combination of mileage and time based events and it is proposed to align these into a weeklong single event for each unit. It should be assumed that one unit will be out of service at any one time for this programme. This project shall be carried out as a turnkey solution, with the scope of work including; engineering design/approvals, project management, parts supply (limited scope of consumables only), overhaul and installation activities, logistics and approvals.
