UKRI-STFC requires an independent accredited laboratory to carry out destructive analysis for a range of radionuclides and gamma spectrometry on smaller sub samples which require a lower Minimal Detectable Amount (MDA). Most of the samples will require analysis by gamma spectroscopy with some destructive analysis.
