Seaalter Levels North; marshland development

Over the course of 2021, this project will undertake engineering works to enhance the in-field topography and disconnect the areas from the landscape drainage regime in order to provide habitats for wetland birds. We will create discrete hydrological units across the Seasalter Levels designed to capture rainfall and be supplemented by surface water abstractions, in order to provide the required hydrological conditions for the desired habitat.
