Severn Trent Water (STW) currently have x2 Malmberg Biomethane Upgrading Plants (BUP's) in operation at the Minworth & Strongford Sewage Treatment Works, which purify the gas produced to ensure it meets with the UK GSMR specification before it is injected into the grid.
