To provide occupational and vocational driver training courses for NHS Blood and Transplant staff. Since driving is a necessary requirement of the job for a large number of staff, NHSBT, in its role as employer, is committed to ensure that staff are fully trained and for this reason they are offered occupational driver training to supplement their normal driving skills.
