Administration of Disclosure and Barring Services Checks

The DVSA acts as the regulator for Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs). DVSA has appointed a contractor registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for the administration of disclosures of potential driving instructors (PDIs), existing ADIs and potential driving examiners (DEs) in England, Scotland and Wales.
