AHDB Horticulture has funded work to develop a test to quantify clubroot resting spores in soils. This test has relevance for Brassica and OSR growers. The test has been trialled with a wide range of UK soil types with no reduction in efficacy. The test shows 92% accuracy in predicting the risk of clubroot development compared to grower observations at harvest.
