3.1 Background Following recommendations from environmental health, NMRN Hartlepool is seeking quotes for improvements to the surface areas in the main kitchen. Currently, the kitchen walls and floors are tiled and there is a tiled suspended ceiling. It is proposed to upgrade the wall surfaces to HACCP approved cladding and to replace the floor tiles with a sealed, anti-slip surface suitable for a commercial kitchen environment.
