The purpose of this project is to continue the work that Butterfly Conservation (BC) has been doing with NE over the past few years to halt and reverse the declines of our most seriously threatened butterfly species; this is through annual monitoring, site advice to landowners and direct management works where required. Butterfly Conservation are the largest UK charity devoted to the conservation of our Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths) and we have been working with them collaboratively in this way for many years...
