The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) was established in April 2017. The WMGC is owned by the WMCA and its Constituent Members (Birmingham CC, Coventry CC, Sandwell MBC, Solihull MBC, Dudley MBC, Walsall MBC & Wolverhampton CC), with governance that heavily involves the public sector in the majority.
