Evaluation and Quantification of the Societal and Economic Impact of Selected NERC Funded Research

The project will evaluate and quantify the societal and economic impact of NERC funded research, with a focus on the impact delivered via: • The benefits that NERC science provides to the UK public sector, through increased effectiveness of public services; • The benefits to UK companies through smart policies; and • The benefits, in terms of economically measurable environmental improvements, that policies based on NERC science generates for wider UK.
