Financial Audit of NHS and Armed Forces Pension Schemes - 2016-2021

This is a business case for a contract that is already in place (reference Gen 16-13). The contract covers the financial audit of the NHS Pension Scheme (including the WGA submission) and the Armed Forces Pension Scheme (including the WGA submission). The contract was let in September 2016 to cover the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 audits, with an option to extend for two further years on a +1/+1 basis. Lifetime costs below assume contract extension to the maximum of 5 years to cover the 2019/20 and 2020/21 audits.
